Full Time experienced  Gardener/Groundsperson/Driver

This is a full time position offering 40 hours a week, usually Monday to Friday, however the successful person will be required to show flexibility as there could be some early starts and late finishes involved on occasions when driving the family to meetings, airports etc.

The Gardener/Groundsperson/Driver will be well presented, reliable, discreet and completely trustworthy with an easy to get along with personality. The successful person must be happy to work alone, follow instructions, but also use their own initiative.

The position :-

• General gardening of a beautiful 3 acre formal garden which includes a pond
• Weeding, pruning and replanting so excellent horticultural knowledge essential
• Lawn care using large garden machinery, including a compact tractor
• Hedgecutting, and other gardening requirements such as strimming, spraying, raking and cutting back.
• Requires a clean driving licence to drive the Principal's luxury cars
• Keeping cars clean and refuelling when necessary
• Chauffeuring family locally and further afield
• Excellent Handyman skills in and around the house 

The Person will :-

• Be reliable, discreet, trustworthy with a friendly personality
• Be a safe driver with a Full clean UK licence
•  Have previous private household experience(fully referenced)
• Enjoy gardening and have really good horticultural skills
• Be happy to finish late on occasions
• Have general excellent handyman skills to cover tasks in and around the house.
• Be able to use and maintain large garden machinery
