Full Time Live In Couple required for very large, Georgian, country house located approx 13 miles West of Salisbury, Wiltshire.

We are looking for a full time housekeeper and part time houseperson/security/driver with extensive private household experience to manage the following duties within this beautiful country house:-

• Housekeeping to a very high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• Basic cooking for the family ( usually 2 people ) and guests on occasions
• Bringing in logs and laying the fires
• Basis maintenance - changing lightbulbs, checking alarms, cleaning windows, liaising with tradespeople, cleaning and putting away garden furniture etc.
• Driving the principals occasionally
• Keeping the cars clean and ready for use.

The couple will be polite, well mannered and very easy to get along with.

Although the property is on a grand scale there are mostly only two people in residence,  so the majority of the rooms will be unused and therefore will only require regular dusting and preparing for guests on occasions with deep cleans when necessary.

Someone who is happy changing beds, cleaning bathrooms and generally keeping the house in a clean tidy condition at all times.

Basic cooking would also be required and assistance serving etc when the family entertain.

Animal lovers essential as the family have 3 dogs who will need looking after at times.

This is a Monday to Friday position, however weekend work will be required at busy times and days off will be given in lieu of this.

Non smokers, car drivers and English as their first language essential.

A generous salary will be offered as well as accommodation within a wing of the house (own entrance)
