Groom/Stud Hand, Hadleigh, Suffolk. REF JF1805

Part Time experienced Groom/Stud Hand required for small private stud located between Bildeston and Hadleigh, Suffolk.

We are looking for someone reliable who can help for approx 1.5 to 2 hours -2 or 3 mornings a week.

The yard has 3 mares at present, so the successful person must be experienced handling horses on the ground.

The Position:

• All yard work - mucking out, and making up stables with fresh bedding
• Sweeping the yard
• Hays and water
• Turning horses out and  bringing in from the field.
• Tack cleaning
• Rug changing,
• Picking out feet and checking for injury

• Reliable, on time and efficient
• Experienced handling horses on the ground
• Able to spot injury or illness
• Tidy and organised
• A car driver with own transport ( yard is not on bus route)
