Nanny

Full Time experienced Nanny required for busy family, where both parents work. Therefore they are looking for someone amazing to have day to day sole charge of their very good natured baby boy who will be 10 months old when this position starts in September. The family live in a spacious farmhouse located on the family farm with a great garden and countryside all around, so plenty of places to walk and explore nearby. The cities of Chelmsford and Colchester are within easy reach, access via the A12, and there are numerous local activities and classes.

This is a permanent position and the hours will be 8.30am to 5.30pm - Monday to Thursday. If the successful person wishes to earn extra, there could be some weekend or evening work available at times. There is also the opportunity to accompany the family on 1 or 2 holidays a year (skiing and possibly a summer holiday).

The Position:

• Sole charge of 10 month old baby boy
• Managing general routine-meal times, naps, play and keeping his areas clean and tidy
• Ad-hoc household duties 
• Food prep for the baby
• Planning age appropriate developmental activities both inside and outdoors (e.g. walks, learning classes and play dates)

The Person:

• Reliable, kind and caring
• Warm, nurturing with a proactive approach
• Extensive previous private nanny experience, specifically with children under 1
• Confident with routines, including feeds, nap and play, and being flexible to change as baby moves to the next stage, and comfortable providing advice to family based on experience
• A car driver with their own transport, however a vehicle will be available for use at work
• Energetic with a love of the outdoors to ensure baby gets lots of fresh air and active play

A generous salary will be offered to the successful Nanny who can provide fully checkable references.

• Full UK driving licence
• An in date DBS
• 3 contacts for references
