Assistant Housekeeper & Gardener Couple

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and proactive Assistant Housekeeper and Gardener Couple to join a dedicated team on a large, well-established private estate in Norfolk. This is a full-time, live-out position (45 hours per week), with some flexibility required to accommodate occasional overtime when the principals are in residence.

The Role:

Assistant Housekeeper

• Support the head housekeeper with all aspects of daily housekeeping
• High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
• Hands-on with laundry, wardrobe management, and formal service
• Comfortable working within a formal household with a team ethos
• Able and willing to help serve the principals and their guests
• Liaising with contractors
• Handling basic administrative tasks
• Polishing silver.

Gardener

• Experienced in maintaining gardens and grounds to a high standard
• General horticultural knowledge and practical skills essential
• Experience with both hand held and ride on machinery / tools
• Willing to assist with other estate tasks when required
• A team player with a can-do attitude

The Ideal Couple:

• Local to the Norfolk area (or with reliable transport)
• Previous experience working on private estate
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
• Flexible, positive, and happy to take initiative
