Wine Sales Person

We are looking for a part time (2 days a week) wine salesperson for our clients superb vineyard in North Norfolk, 5 miles from the sea.  This would suit someone living in the area with professional sales experience and an interest in wine.
 
The vineyard is a 9 acre site, planted in 2019 with 15,250 vines – 50% Bacchus, 25% Früburgunder, 25% Solaris.  The estate does not have a winery – their wine is mainly made by the Burn Valley Vineyard a few miles away.  

The place of work will be the estate office in the heart of Walsingham, but you will be expected to spend time on the road meeting existing and potential customers and delivering cases of wine. This is a hands on, customer facing role. 
 
Duties will include:

• Sales – generating new customers
• Sales – servicing existing customers
• Promotion – participating as a stallholder in food and drink events in Norfolk
• Fulfilment – delivering wine in Norfolk by van/car
• Helping in vineyard at harvest (if desirable)
• Marketing – contributing to the marketing strategy
• Marketing – generating promotional material on social media

The right candidate will have: 

• Sales experience, preferably in the food and/or drink, or hospitality sectors. 
• An interest in wine and how it is made
• An interest in marketing and a good grasp of social media promotion methods
• A full UK driving licence

The position offers a competitive salary between £18-20ph on a self employed/freelance basis, depending on the persons experience.

There is flexibility over which two days a week are worked
