Full-Time Nanny / Housekeeper – Beautiful Private Family Home

A warm and welcoming young family are seeking a kind, capable and proactive Nanny / Mother’s Help to support them in their beautiful, private home just outside Downham Market, Norfolk.

With three young children – a 4.5-year-old, a nearly 3-year-old and a baby born in March – they are looking for someone calm, organised and genuinely caring to become part of their day-to-day life.

This is a long-term, full-time role with a wonderful opportunity to live on-site in a private wing of their home, or work as a daily if preferred. The family are warm, relaxed and value someone who is proactive, nurturing and happy to muck in with a bit of everything.

The Role Includes:

• Helping with the school and nursery runs (driving essential – automatic car provided)
• Caring for the baby and the nearly 3 year old (who will be at nursery part-time) during the day whilst the eldest is at school (a mix of sole and shared care)
• General housekeeping: laundry, ironing, tidying bedrooms and living spaces, helping keep the house running smoothly
• Preparing nutritious meals, batch cooking for the freezer, and using fresh produce from the garden when possible
• Helping with children’s routines, especially at breakfast and supper time
• Light help in the kitchen garden (e.g. picking vegetables and incorporating them into meals)
• Working alongside the family’s part-time cleaner who comes 3 mornings a week

The ideal Nanny / Housekeeper

• Kind, energetic, and happy to be part of a fun, busy family life
• Experienced with babies and young children (mum is still breastfeeding and the baby may have some dairy sensitivity)
• Confident, safe driver (with several years of driving experience)
• Comfortable with both shared and sole charge
• Practical, organised, and will show initiative
• Punctual and reliable
• Happy, energetic, playful, creative and outdoorsy – the family have a lovely large garden, swimming pool and woods to explore
• Bonus if you enjoy cooking and the occasional bit of light gardening!

Accommodation (Live-In Option):

A spacious, private wing of the house with it's own entrance, sitting area, two bedrooms and bathroom. The family would love to modernise the space with the new person in mind and welcome someone who would enjoy making it their own.

Hours & Salary:

• Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
• No weekends required
• £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Live-in or live-out
