Lovely Family Seeking Full-Time Nanny (4 days a week)

A warm, welcoming family in the heart of Newmarket are looking for a kind, nurturing and fun nanny to care for their two energetic, bright and loving boys, aged two and five.
Their much-loved nanny of four years is sadly leaving to start her own family, so they are now seeking someone wonderful to step into her shoes and become a valued, long-term part of their household.

The Role

This is a sole charge, full-time nanny position where you’ll be supporting the family with day-to-day care, development, and fun. Your responsibilities will include:

• All standard nanny duties – keeping children’s spaces organised and tidy (kitchen, playroom, bedrooms, children’s laundry, etc.)
• Cooking healthy, balanced and delicious meals for the children (a genuine love of cooking is essential!)
• Planning stimulating and engaging activities, organising playdates and attending local groups
• Encouraging outdoor play and enjoying the family’s idyllic countryside surroundings
• Driving the children confidently and safely (a clean licence with at least 5 years’ driving experience required – car is provided)
• The family also have a gorgeous dog, so a love of animals is important.

Hours & Schedule

•  Monday to Thursday: 8am – 6pm (flexibility for an earlier finish on a Wednesday, Friday)
• Additional hours: Tuesday evening (a few extra hours a few times a month) and between 1 and 2 Saturday mornings a month although the Saturday is not essential but would be a real bonus.
• Start Date: ASAP

The Person

The family are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, kind, caring, and genuinely passionate about children
• Responsible, sensible, and reliable Fun, energetic, and engaging
• A confident and safe driver (minimum 5 years’ experience, clean licence)
•  A good cook, who enjoys preparing healthy meals

This would ideally be a live-out role, though there may be potential for live-in accommodation in the future.

Salary & Benefits

•  £17 – £19.50 per hour gross 
• Car provided
