Groom/Rider. Hadleigh, Suffolk

We are looking for an experienced Groom/Rider to join the friendly team on this yard close to Hadleigh, Suffolk. The ideal person will be reliable, hard working with a genuine love of country life and of course horses. Someone who takes a real pride in their work and who can turn horses out to a high standard which will include, clipping, plaiting, trimming etc.

A good, confident rider is essential to carry out fittening work and also to maintain fitness throughout the season. You must be used to exercising a variety of horses and be happy to go trail hunting at least one day a week.

A lorry driver would be great but not a dealbreaker

The ability to spot illness and injury is a must.

There is a 2/3 bedroom bungalow, with garden and parking provided with this role and a family would be welcome. Your own horse could be accommodated subject to discussion.

Hadleigh is 5 minutes away and has great schools, shops, gyms, restaurants etc.

There are a lot of grooms in the area so there is a chance to socialise if you wish.

A couple would be considered where the partner could also work on the yard.

Car driver essential.
