Nanny/Mothers Help

A busy, fun outdoorsy family of four are looking for a kind and caring person to help with their two small children. 

They are a busy and fun outdoorsy family looking for a warm and friendly Nanny / Mothers Help to take care of their two small children on a part time, permanent basis. Dad works away during the week so Mum would love an extra pair of hands. The main part of the role is dropping off and picking up from school and nursery 3 days a week, then spending time with the children (2 boys), preparing them a meal and bathing them. 

Additional hours may be available for the right person, including extra afternoon work. A good sense of humour is important, but a love of the outdoors and countryside activities is also a must. The family have dogs and horses, so the person needs to be comfortable with pets (and if you're happy to help with them too then that would be a real bonus, but not essential). A car driver / car owner is essential as the family live in a remote village. The ideal candidate would be someone who blends in with their wholesome way of life, has flexibility to offer additional help when life throws a curve ball, and is happy for a long term position so they can grow with the family. 

Hours:

• 15 hours a week although the family can offer slightly more for the right person if desired 
• Ideal days/ hours would be: 

3-6pm Monday
8-9 am and then 3-6pm Tuesday and Wednesday (flexibility here if needed) 
(3-6pm on Thursday if desired)

• If morning hours are difficult for the person to accommodate, then the family are happy to consider afternoons only so please apply if this set up would suit you more. 

Salary:

• £15ph, self employed
• The family are happy to consider a contribution to travel cost if the person is further than 10 miles away although this is to be discussed.
