This is a full-time, permanent, live-out role, offering the chance to work in a stunning natural environment where calm professionalism, exceptional standards, and craftsmanship are valued and appreciated.

About the Retreat:

Nestled in peaceful countryside, the retreat offers a blend of luxury bell tents, handcrafted treehouses, and beautifully designed cabins, along with a gorgeous café, serene library, rustic barn, elegant orangery, and dedicated yoga and wellness studio. Every detail has been designed to create a space of tranquillity, comfort, and natural beauty.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out and overseeing day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and improvements across the retreat
  • Ensuring the accommodation (bell tents, treehouses, cabins) and shared areas (café, library, barn, orangery, yoga and wellness studio) are always in pristine condition
  • Managing preventative maintenance schedules and responding promptly to reactive issues
  • Coordinating specialist contractors and managing supplier relationships
  • Overseeing small renovation and improvement projects
  • Maintaining records of work completed, tools, and budgets
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

About You:

  • Highly experienced in property, estate, or hospitality maintenance management
  • Skilled in at least one specific trade (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, decorating, or similar)
  • Hands-on, practical, and able to work independently with excellent attention to detail
  • Calm, reliable, and proud of maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Great with guests (polite, friendly and willing to go the extra mile)
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport required

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
  • Beautiful countryside location surrounded by nature
  • Supportive and professional working environment
  • Opportunity to play a key role in a growing, high-end wellness destination

If you are a skilled, experienced professional who takes pride in maintaining beautiful spaces and would like to be part of a warm, creative team in a truly unique environment, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your details to Rebecca info@larstonerecruitment.com
