Private Housekeeper – Beautiful Family home

A warm, welcoming family living in a beautiful home near Ascot are looking for a wonderful full-time Housekeeper to join their small, long-standing, and truly fabulous team. This is a rare opportunity to work in an exceptional environment, under an excellent and supportive Head Housekeeper, where high standards, kindness, and teamwork are at the heart of daily life.

The family is happy to consider both experienced private housekeepers or someone with the right attitude and a strong work ethic who would like to be trained, provided you have lived in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

About the Role

The role involves all aspects of housekeeping across a large, beautifully maintained home. You’ll work closely with a friendly team to ensure the house is immaculate and well organised at all times. This will suit someone who is active, thorough, and genuinely enjoys taking pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily housekeeping and upkeep of all rooms, corridors, and staircases
• Bed changing and care of linens
• Laundry, washing, and excellent ironing
• Care of silverware, crockery, and glassware
• Organising wardrobes, cupboards, and household storage
• Coordinating dry cleaning
• Working collaboratively with the existing team to maintain high standards throughout the home

No cooking is required.

Hours and Salary:

• Full Time, permanent & employed 
• Week one: Monday-Friday 9a-6pm
• Week two: Monday-Wednesday 9am-6pm, Thursday & Friday off and Saturday & Sunday 9am-6pm 
• £35,000pa

• Comfortable around dogs, as the family has charming pets
• Local and able to drive, as the property is rural and not accessible by public transport

Training will be provided for the right person who is enthusiastic, driven, and keen to grow their private housekeeping career within a supportive and well-run household.
