POSITION AVAILABLE
Experienced and capable Groom / Rider to join a small, beautifully run mini estate in the Norfolk countryside. This is a full-time, long-term position within a happy, supportive and long-standing team, caring for a small number of top-class horses in a calm, professional and positive environment.
The current full-time groom has been with the team for some time and is leaving to relocate, creating an opening for the right person to step into a well-established, well-loved role.
The Yard & Horses:
The yard is home to eight top class Arab horses, all beautifully cared for and worked to a high standard. The mix includes retired companions, a quiet hack and several horses in competitive training. Horses are stabled over winter and live out during the summer months, with thoughtful, consistent routines in place.
This is a quality-over-quantity setup, where standards matter and horses come first.
Attention to fine detail is crucial - although most horses are now in training in Europe they still have FEI horses in Norfolk including 2 at championship level - so all products and treatments must be FEI approved. It is paramount that the successful person can competently handle medication, flu vaccines etc (alongside vets).
The Team:
The successful candidate will be joining a close-knit, cheerful and hardworking team who genuinely enjoy working together, there is a genuinely lovely dynamic. Everyone mucks in, supports one another and takes pride in the estate. The atmosphere is relaxed, respectful and upbeat — a place where people tend to stay.
