Join a dedicated and professional team where your passion for estate maintenance and animal care will make a real impact. We are seeking a skilled and motivated couple to maintain the estate and support operations to the highest standards.

THE ROLE

As estate workers you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the estate. Your expertise in property maintenance, machinery operation, and animal care will help sustain a high-quality environment for the estate.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES


  • Assist with the care and management of animals including feeding and monitoring health (horses, dogs, alpacas, chickens).
  • Maintain facilities ensuring cleanliness and optimal conditions.
  • Support the breeding program by preparing facilities and handling mares as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks around the estate including grounds keeping and general upkeep.
  • Operate machinery such as tractors and farm machinery.
  • Assist in the preparation and transportation of show horses for events, training sessions and client visits.
  • Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, particularly concerning animal care.
  • Complete any additional tasks as requested by management.

HOURS:

45-55 per week including weekends 


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience in estate maintenance or animal care- horses, dogs etc  (essential)
  • Experience operating tractors, towing trailers, general farm equipment
  • A valid UK driving license (HGV LICENSE IS DESIRABLE)
  • The physical ability to handle animals and perform manual labour.

Strong teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
