Newborn Nanny (15 hours a week)

A lovely family of 3 near Thornham, Norfolk, are looking for a warm, calm and highly experienced nanny to support them with their gorgeous newborn baby, who will be around three months old at the end of March.

This is a wonderful, long-term, part-time role for someone who genuinely loves working with babies and takes pride in supporting early development in a thoughtful, nurturing way. The family are kind, welcoming and relaxed, and are keen to find someone who will become a trusted and valued part of their home.

The role:

• Part-time: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Around 15 hours per week, ideally mornings 9.30am- 2.30pm  (with flexibility for the right person)
• Sole charge / care of one baby
• Bottle feeding, changing, settling and following routines
• Supporting sleep and awake patterns
• Helping with milestones such as weaning, sitting, crawling and walking
• Light “mucking in” where helpful  - very much a team approach

The ideal nanny will be:

• Highly experienced with newborns (essential)
• Calm, warm, friendly and confident
• Organised and naturally nurturing
• Well referenced with an enhanced DBS check
• Happy working sole charge
• Proactive, attentive and genuinely enjoys supporting early childhood development

Due to the family’s semi-rural location, a full driving licence and own car are essential.

Package:

• £15–£20 per hour, depending on experience
• Long-term opportunity
