Job Overview
As a wedding coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating memorable and seamless wedding experiences for couples. This position requires a blend of creativity, organisational skills, and an eye for detail to ensure that every aspect of the wedding day is executed flawlessly. From answering initial enquiries to viewings and on the day support, you will work closely with couples to understand their vision, and coordinate with various suppliers to bring their dream wedding to life.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with couples to determine their wedding vision, preferences, and budget.
  • Develop detailed timelines and checklists to ensure all aspects of the wedding are organised and on schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with couples and suppliers to ensure all details are executed flawlessly.
  • Coordinate with other services such as florists, caterers, photographers, DJ’s and bands to secure services that align with the couple's vision.
  • Manage logistics on the wedding day, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
  • Provide guest services and hospitality arrangements to provide a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
  • Upsell additional services or products that enhance the overall wedding experience.
  • Handle any unforeseen issues or changes that may arise during the planning process or on the day of the event. 

Hours:

  • Full time, 40 hours a week.
  • Monday - Friday with weekends - opportunity to see the bride and groom on their special day and make sure that everything runs smoothly.  
  • Working onsite in a beautiful office with a welcoming, dynamic and passionate team on a truly idyllic family-run Estate

Salary:

Starting £26,000 per annum depending on experience. This role has plenty of scope for the person to progress and develop. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Proven experience in wedding or event planning. 
  • Strong organisational skills and time management. 
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with couples and suppliers professionally.
  • A passion for weddings, creating memorable experiences and an understanding of current trends in the industry. 

The working environment:

Set in the most tranquil park on a beautiful family run Estate in the heart of Norfolk.
