Nanny- maternity cover

Experienced Nanny Required to cover maternity leave– Part Time- 27 hours a week over 3 days

A friendly and welcoming family are seeking an experienced, caring, and reliable nanny to care for their three children aged 5 years, 4 years, and 16 weeks. This is a temporary, part-time position, with a total of 27 hours per week.

Working Hours

• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday
• 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Immediate start - 12 month period

Key Responsibilities

• Providing engaging, interesting, and age-appropriate care for all three children
• School runs for the eldest child who attends a local school (car driver essential)
• Planning and engaging the children in fun, creative, and stimulating activities
• Organising play dates and activities which will require extra driving
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Keeping the children's areas tidy and organised
• Children’s laundry, including washing and changing bed linen
• Ensuring a safe, happy, and nurturing environment at all times

The Ideal Nanny

• Warm, kind, and patient, with a genuine love for working with children
• Confident caring for a baby alongside the older children
• Outdoorsy and energetic – the family loves spending time outside
• A strong swimmer, as the family have a pool
• Labrador friendly
• Proactive, organised, and able to engage each child individually

The family home offers plenty of space for outdoor play, walking, cycling, and adventures, making this a wonderful role for a nanny who enjoys an active lifestyle.

Requirements

• Proven childcare experience with fully checkable references
• A current, in-date DBS
• Childcare qualifications are preferred, though extensive experience will be considered
• Full clean UK driving licence and own transport
• Non smoker

A competitive hourly rate will be offered to the successful candidate.
