Founded in 2010, Larstone Recruitment (formerly known as Rural Recruitment) is a national & global recruitment agency, delivering an exclusive and personal service, selecting the very best candidates for every role. Family run, with an emphasis on communication and proactivity, Larstone Recruitment specialises in sourcing staff for private homes and estates, commercial and corporate businesses, farming & agriculture, childcare and equestrian. Whilst our name has changed — our values, team, and commitment remain. We continue to provide a highly personalised service to clients and candidates throughout the UK.
Larstone Recruitment was founded in 2010 by Jackie Frost, who identified a need for an agency specialising in all household & estate staff including butlers, grooms, PA’s, private chefs and gardeners. Larstone Recruitment has since grown organically, building it's profile both nationally and globally, with clients from all walks of life from UHNW individuals / families to single parents, farmers to corporate CEO’s. The broadening of the business has resulted in a diverse and extensive system that optimises service to both the employer, and the employee. After all, neither would exist successfully without the other.
Rebecca Rivett, Jackie’s daughter, joined the business in 2015 bringing a wealth of experience from the commercial recruitment sector, as well as equestrian and childcare.
Jackie & Rebecca pride themselves on providing a service that is available from 8am – 8pm (and often outside these hours!), seven days a week. This is one of the key differentials that clients and employees feel elevates Larstone Recruitment above the service of other agencies.
Alongside the bespoke service upon which Larstone Recruitment was founded, there is now a job board where clients can advertise their vacancies for a one-off fee, managing their own recruitment whilst benefitting from the Larstone network.

Jackie Frost
Before founding Rural Recruitment in 2010, Jackie built a successful career as a full-time Personal Assistant and Farm Secretary, and earlier in her career, she held management roles within prominent London hotels.
Jackie is passionate about rural life and enjoys the tranquillity and beauty of the countryside. She can often be found walking her beloved Borderpoo, Arthur, as well as running, cycling, and enjoys her annual walking holiday on Exmoor. A regular visitor to London, Jackie loves taking in the latest theatre productions and cherishes quality time spent with her family and friends.
As a mother of two, many years were spent juggling a career, school runs, pony club, housework and cooking for the family. Jackie is therefore sympathetic towards many of her client’s requirements in the private household sector.

Rebecca Rivett
Rebecca graduated with a first-class degree in Equine Sports Science in 2011, going on to work as a senior nutritionist within a market leading horse supplements company. Moving to Norfolk ignited a change in career, as a commercial recruitment consultant for a large regional agency. This experience has proved invaluable.
Prior to university, Rebecca was a full-time nanny/mothers help for a family of 4 children and 6 ponies, alongside competing up to 1* British Eventing.
Rebecca has two children of her own, India & Saffie, with a support team of two ponies, and a collection of chickens and ducks. Time is also made for running, cycling and anything fitness related and occasionally for her husband Ben and the family dog, Fergus the Irish Terrier/terror.
Rebecca has a full-time nanny and part time housekeeper, and therefore understands employing staff you can rely upon and trust.
Marketing Manager
Merelina Davies
After graduating with a degree in graphic design in 2006, Merelina started her career in the automotive industry. Design work was initially print based across a variety of different media from advertising and brochure design to motor show stand graphics. Working in the sales and marketing teams, and as the digital world grew, Merelina's job role expanded to include material for websites, social media, email campaigns and media screens.
Merelina has been working with Jackie and Rebecca since 2022, helping to promote the company and job vacancies.
Outside of work you will often find Merelina playing games with her two children in the garden, or them "helping" her with the vegetable patch and greenhouse. Inside their house she has enjoyed designing each room, especially the children’s rooms where she can let her imagination run wild.
