Couple -Housekeeper/Gardener, Cambridgeshire

Experienced Couple to carry out Housekeeping/Cleaning/Gardening/Driving required for private country house located approx 8 miles from Cambridge and 6 miles west of Newmarket.

This position offers a great life/work balance and the chance to enjoy match days at the polo club. A great social life with other team members can be enjoyed particularly throughout the Spring and Summer with BBQs and fun days.

Great commuting links to London via rail or road.

We are looking for a couple to work 25 hours (combined) a week and cover a variety of tasks helping to keep this Grade I listed house clean and tidy.  An interest in gardening would be an advantage to mow the lawn, weed, prune and carry out general tidying throughout the year.

There is the opportunity to work extra hours bringing the weekly total to 30-40 hours. at the employer's nearby polo ground assisting with hospitality at events. There could also be groundsperson duties working alongside the Head Groundsperson when required.

This is a live in position and a small one bedroom lodge is included along with all utilities and use of a vehicle.

The position will include:

• All housework to a high standard
• Laundry and ironing
• General tidying
• Keeping the garden well maintained.
• Occasional driving for the family.

You will be:

• Reliable, trustworthy with a really nice friendly personalities
• Experienced housekeeper/cleaner
• Used to period properties
• Happy to work in the garden
• Car drivers with a clean licences
