Nanny/Mother's Help- Raydon, Ipswich, Suffolk -REF JF1973

Full Time experienced Nanny/Mother's Help required by busy, young farming family located approx 2 miles from Hadleigh Suffolk. Easy access from both Ipswich and Colchester via A12.

The current Nanny is sadly relocating after 3.5 happy years, so we are looking for someone to step into her shoes.

The hours will be as follows:

• Monday - 8am to 6pm
• Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday - 7.30am to 6pm
• Friday - 8.30am to 1.30pm

The children are 2 and 4 years old, so the incoming Nanny must be energetic and fun with a genuine love of working with small children.

One starts school in September

Both parents work so this is a sole charge position which will include the following:

• Providing the best possible child care with kindness and competence
• Driving the children to nursery and activities
• Engaging with them with play and other fun activities
• Lots of outdoor play
• Creative indoor activities
• Cooking healthy meals for them and possibly for the family too!
• Baking cakes (occasionally) would be great!
• Keeping the house tidy and carrying out childrens' laundry and ironing.

The Person:

• Reliable, punctual, enthusiastic with a genuine love of working with children
• Kind, caring, fun and energetic
• A country loving person who enjoys the great outdoors.
• A good cook
• Happy to carry out some housework.
• Preferably an animal lover who could take the children riding but this is not a dealbreaker
• A safe driver with a clean licence.

Qualifications:

• Childcare qualifications would be preferred but extensive, fully referenced childcare experience would be considered
• Paediatric first aid.

A very competitive salary will be offered to the successful person and a car can be provided for work if required.
