Nanny

 A lovely family near Reepham in Norfolk are seeking an experienced, kind and compassionate nanny / extra pair of kind and caring hands to join them on a part time basis. This is a fantastic role for someone who genuinely loves working with children, enjoys being outdoors, and is happy to be around dogs and horses.

The family have three delightful young daughters, aged 4, 2 and 1, who are full of energy, curiosity, and love for life. The children enjoy a mix of outdoor adventures, creative activities, reading, baking, and imaginative play. They thrive with someone who is calm, gentle, patient, and happy to get involved in their fun-filled days.

Mum will be around most of the time, so this role is all about teaming up and being a second pair of hands to help look after the girls and keep things running smoothly in the house. 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Providing attentive, nurturing care to the children, adapting to their individual needs and personalities
• Assisting with morning routines, helping the girls get dressed, and breakfast
• Helping with mealtimes, including preparation of healthy meals and snacks 
• Planning and setting up stimulating activities and outings
• Looking after the girls whilst mum takes the eldest to school or the second eldest to nursery.
• Attending classes with mum if needed, such as swimming
• Occasionally supporting with bath and bedtime routines
• Assisting with packing bags for trips away, organising for the next day, and keeping play areas tidy
• Joining the family on trips out and day excursions during school holidays
• Occasional evening babysitting

Hours:

Term Time Hours (29 hours):

•  Monday - 2-2.30pm -6.30/7pm
• Tuesday - 9.30am-6.30/7pm
• Wednesday - 2-2.30pm-6/7pm
•  Thursday - 2-2.30pm- 6.30/7pm
•  Fridays - 2-2.30pm-6.30/7pm 

School Holidays (33 hours per week)

• Monday - 9am-6.30pm
• Tuesday - 10am-6.30pm
• Wednesday - 2.30pm-6.30pm
• Thursday - 3.30pm-6.30pm
• Friday 9am-6.30pm

• A good communicator, listener, and someone with strong initiative
• Someone discreet who is very happy following mothers lead
• Happy to walk the dog, help with horses / pony time
• Happy to get stuck in with everything that comes with family life

Salary:

£15-17ph.
