We are delighted to be recruiting for three exceptional roles at a beautiful and historic 15-acre private estate 35 minutes west of Norwich.

The estate, which has recently undergone a stunning refurbishment, is entering an exciting new chapter. Alongside use by the family, from 2026 it will also welcome select guests for luxury retreats—combining heritage charm with modern comfort, warmth, and hospitality.

To support this vision, we are seeking dedicated, professional, and guest-focused individuals to join the small but highly committed onsite team.

Head Gardener / Groundsman

  • Start Date: October 2025
  • Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 DOE
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (open to negotiation)

Overview:
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the care and development of the formal gardens, kitchen garden, lawns, woodland and grounds. They will be passionate about horticulture, sustainability, and maintaining the estate to the highest standard, while also ensuring the grounds are guest-ready for family visits and retreats.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Head/Senior Gardener on a private estate
  • RHS or equivalent horticultural qualifications desirable
  • PA1/PA6 and City & Guilds NPTC/ Lantra qualifications desirable
  • Excellent plant knowledge and experience with kitchen gardens
  • Confident with garden machinery and estate maintenance tasks
  • Warm, personable, and comfortable interacting with family and guests
  • Full UK driving licence essential

Housekeeper / House Manager

  • Start Date: October 2025
  • Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexible), occasional weekend light duties

Overview:

Central to ensuring a warm and immaculate environment, this role is a blend of hands-on housekeeping and hospitality. With three estate properties plus shared spaces, the Housekeeper/House Manager will maintain the highest standards of presentation while supporting seamless guest experiences.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality, private households, or boutique hotels
  • Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Passion for presentation, from fresh flowers to beautifully laid tables and fresh bakes on arrival
  • Ability to manage additional turnaround staff when required
  • A discreet, professional, and guest-centred approach
  • Warm personality with a genuine flair for hospitality

General Manager

  • Start Date: Winter 2025 (ahead of estate opening in 2026)
  •  Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
  •  Hours: Full time, with some flexibility around guest schedules

Overview:

The General Manager will oversee the smooth operation of the estate, ensuring that both family stays and guest retreats run seamlessly. They will manage the small onsite team, liaise with external suppliers, and bring a strategic, guest-centred approach to service delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Senior management experience within private estates, luxury hospitality, or high-end retreats
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to embrace change and innovative ideas as the estate evolves
  • Discreet, reliable, and highly professional
