POSITION AVAILABLE
A warm, organised and energetic family based in West London are seeking an experienced, capable and confident nanny to join their household on a full-time, long-term basis.
This is a lively, happy home with three young children aged four years, two and a half years, and a four-month-old baby. The household would suit someone calm, experienced and naturally organised - someone who is comfortable taking charge when needed and who genuinely enjoys the wonderful energy that comes with a busy family home.
The role offers real stability and the opportunity to become a valued and trusted part of family life over the coming years. The family are kind, respectful employers who value consistency, warmth and professionalism, and they are hoping to find someone who takes pride in helping a household run smoothly while building meaningful relationships with the children.
The Role
This is a varied position combining nanny and mother’s help responsibilities. The family previously had a nanny for several years who became a much-loved part of their home, and they are hoping to find someone equally engaging, proactive and nurturing.
The children are active, curious and full of personality - typical young boys who benefit from a confident and experienced caregiver who is happy to lead the day with structure, creativity and calm authority.
Duties will include:
• Nursery drop-offs and collections Monday–Thursday (younger child attends until midday, eldest until 3pm)
• Sole care of the baby during nursery hours, including feeding, weaning, naps and developmentally appropriate activities
• Planning engaging days - outdoor play, reading, music, creative play and local outings
• Supporting children’s routines including bath and bedtime preparation
• Assisting with children’s laundry, organisation and keeping play and bedroom areas tidy
• Working alongside a housekeeper to keep the home running smoothly
• Preparing simple, healthy family meals (or following recipes)
• Organising playdates, outings and holiday activities
• Occasional weekend support available as paid overtime (not essential)
The family live in a fantastic area with excellent parks, libraries and activities nearby, perfect for someone who enjoys getting out and about with children.
A small, friendly family dog is also part of the household, so being dog-friendly is important.
About the Family
This is a loving, busy and welcoming home filled with laughter and personality. Both parents have demanding careers; Mum has just returned to work part-time.
They are looking for someone warm, grounded and reliable who can confidently manage the day, build strong bonds with the children and become a steady, positive presence within the home.
Hours & Accommodation
• Monday–Friday, 8.00am–7.00pm
• Occasional weekend work available (paid overtime)
• Travel opportunities with the family
• Live-out preferred, though live-in happily considered
• If live-in: lovely en-suite double bedroom provided
