Full Time Live In, experienced Groom/Rider required to join small established team on private yard with a maximum of 5/6 horses -1 possibly 2 hunters, 2 ponies, and 1 dressage horse at present. Beautiful location in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with the highest standards to work on a professionally run yard where the horses welfare is of the utmost importance. There will always be 2  grooms on site ensuring days off are covered and weekend days are shared.

The horses are lovely and the yard has fabulous facilities including an indoor arena- what a bonus for those cold, wet, winter days!

The yard is quiet and immaculate, so would not suit someone looking for a busy environment with lots going on.

The ideal person will have at least 5 years experience of working in the equine industry with the ability to  plait, trim etc to competition level. Excellent first aid skills required.

The successful person must be confident handling competition horses both riding and on the ground.

Someone who takes a pride in their work and can assist with keeping the yard, stables, tack and arenas all clean and tidy throughout the seasons.

A competitive salary will be offered in return for reliability, punctuality and a good work ethic- also an easy to get along with personality is a must.

This position is based on a 5  day week which will include a weekend day, ensuring a great work life balance.

There is self contained accommodation provided and one well behaved dog would be considered. A partner working elsewhere may also be welcome

Car driver essential

Lorry driver would be an advantage but not a dealbreaker.
