Housekeeper / Cleaner

A warm, sociable family living in a beautiful country home on a small regenerative vegetable and flower farm, in a village outside Clare, are seeking a reliable, experienced Housekeeper / Cleaner to support the running of their 7 bedroom household.

The family enjoy hosting most weekends and take pride in presenting a welcoming, inviting home. They value efficiency, a strong work ethic and loyalty, and are looking for someone who can build a long-term working relationship and evolve with their needs over time. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced housekeeper and cleaner seeking a stable, part-time position within an appreciative family home.

The position is 7-10 hours per week flexible over 1-2 days. 

The role:

• Cleaning and upkeep of main communal areas (kitchen, living spaces, hallways, bathrooms etc.)
• Cleaning and maintaining the primary bedrooms weekly
• Preparing guest bedrooms ahead of weekend hosting as required
• Weekly bed changes working alongside a weekly outsourced laundry service
• General tidying and maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout the home
• Occasional deeper cleaning tasks as required

Requirements:

• Experienced in private household cleaning/housekeeping
• Trustworthy, discreet, and dependable
• Takes pride in their work and maintains high standards
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Interest in a long-term role and building a lasting relationship  
• Comfortable working in a remote / rural location
• Full UK driving license and car
