Housekeeper/Mother's help

A busy young family located on the outskirts of Newmarket, are looking for an experienced Housekeeper/Mother's Help to work approx 12-16 hours over 3 days a week. The large older style property has 7+ bedrooms so the new housekeeper will need to be happy managing the housework within such a large property.

The family live on a stud, so this is the perfect role for someone who loves horses, as I am sure you will see them from the windows while you work!

The position will involve:

• All housework to a high standard
• Laundry and  some ironing
• Organisation of children's clothes and toys etc
• Meal preparation 
• Bed linen changing
• Maybe some dog care occasionally
• Listening to the baby monitor at nap times occasionally

The Person:

• Reliable, punctual with a good work ethic
• Friendly, personable with a genuine passion for what they do
• Organised and enthusiastic, but able to understand the demands of working within a busy, young family
• Child and dog friendly
• Experienced in all areas of housekeeping with fully checkable references
• Car driver with own transport
• Non smoker
• Fit and healthy as the house is quite large and needs stamina!

The salary will be £18 per hour on a self employed basis
