An established countryside wellbeing retreat nestled in Norfolk is seeking a Temporary Sales, Reservations & Marketing Assistant for 3 weeks in May. The retreat offers unique individual stays, group retreats, weddings and wellbeing experiences, where every experience, event and stay is executed with exceptional standards and thoughtful touches.

The Role

An experienced Temporary Sales, Reservations & Marketing Assistant is required for 3 weeks to support the business during a busy period and cover staff holiday. The role is primarily focused on upselling accommodation, products and services, maximising revenue opportunities while ensuring outstanding customer care at every point.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident in both sales activity, customer service and relationship management, with a warm, professional approach to guests and clients. This will suit someone who has customer service at the heart of every interaction. 

Responsibilities

  • Proactively upsell accommodation, add-ons, experiences, products and services to new and existing customers
  • Handle guest enquiries with exceptional care, converting interest into confirmed bookings and repeat bookings
  • Manage and update the CRM system, ensuring accurate customer data and follow-ups
  • Create and send targeted mailshots and promotions to existing and prospective audiences
  • Support promotional activity across offers, last-minute availability and seasonal opportunities
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience from enquiry to arrival
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and average booking value
  • Maintain high standards of brand tone, service and communication at all time

Experience required

  • Proven experience in sales and marketing, ideally within hospitality, retreats, events or tourism
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Experience using CRM systems and managing customer data
  • Confident in writing and executing email campaigns and promotional mailshots
  • Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of upselling and revenue maximisation
  • Highly organised and able to work independently over a short, focused contract
  • Warm, professional and aligned with a personable retreat environment
