Henhouse Worker (Part‑Time- Mondays & every other Saturday or Sunday)

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful, family‑run farm near Bury St Edmunds, known for being a genuinely great place to work with long‑standing, loyal team members.

As production continues to grow, they are now looking for a reliable, sensible and mature individual to join their production team as a Henhouse Worker. This is a part‑time, long‑term opportunity with the intention for the successful person to become an integral member of the farm.

The Role

You will be working within the henhouses, supporting daily production and ensuring high standards of care and cleanliness.

Hours:

• Every Monday – 8 hours
• Every other weekend – Saturday or Sunday, 7:00am – 1:30pm
• Flexibility for extra hours should they arise (staff holiday, peak periods)

The Person:

This role would suit someone who:

• Is reliable, sensible and hardworking
• Has a practical, calm approach
• Is not afraid of chickens
• Can work independently and as part of a close‑knit team
• Values long‑term stability and consistency
• Is happy working in a farm environment
• Is fit, healthy and able to perform a physical role

Previous farm or livestock experience would be helpful but is not essential, attitude and reliability matter most.

• £13.40 per hour
