A well-respected and thriving insurance agency based in Bury St Edmunds is looking for a Sales Lead Generator / Financial Services Coordinator to join their brilliant team. About the role

The Sales Lead Generator / Financial Services Coordinator will sit at the heart of the business working closely with Financial Advisors and the New Business Development team to keep pipelines flowing and diaries full with qualified, genuine appointments. This is a proactive, outbound-focused position where every call you make and every lead you qualify directly contributes to the success of the wider team making you an important part of everyday.

  • Make outbound calls, emails and communications to prospect new and existing customers
  • Qualify and distribute leads to assigned team members
  • Keep diaries filled with high-quality, well-qualified appointments
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of general and commercial insurance opportunities
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns that drive engagement across the agency
  • Design team incentives that keep motivation high and momentum going

The ideal candidate will be driven, resilient and genuinely energised by speaking with people. If you are a natural communicator with strong administration skills, and you are someone who thrives on hitting targets who understands that every conversation is an opportunity, this could be ideal for you.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a lead generation, prospecting or outbound sales role
  • Confidence and capability to make high volumes of outbound calls
  • Strong rapport-building and persuasive communication skills both verbally and written
  • Experience using a CRM daily with excellent data management
  • Excellent time management and administration skills
  • Ability to use initiative, be a self-starter and work to targets
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is a bonus, but not essential as full training will be provided.
