A very special opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Domestic Couple to join a warm, respectful and private family as they relocate from Dubai to their magnificent new residence in Guernsey (Summer 2026).

Set within 17 acres of stunning, beautifully maintained grounds, this exceptional estate includes a substantial seven-bedroom residence, ten bathrooms, elegant formal areas, a swimming pool, tennis court, lake, and woodland. Located just five minutes from St Peter Port, it offers a genuinely gorgeous lifestyle setting.

This will be the family’s main residence, their home in every sense of the word, and they are now looking to build a small, trusted team to support them long-term.

The Role – Senior Domestic / Estate Management Couple

(Live-in preferred although Live-out considered)

This role is ideally suited to a professional couple with a proven track record managing private estates, who take pride not only in high standards but in creating a truly warm and welcoming home.

You will have full oversight of the property, acting as trusted custodians and ensuring everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes so the principals never need to worry.

Just as importantly, the family are looking for the right people, a couple who are warm, personable, and genuinely lovely to be around, loyal, long-term focused and committed, happy to muck in, go above and beyond, and add those thoughtful finishing touches, naturally proactive, organised, and discreet, comfortable becoming a true part of the household, part of the fabric of the home.

Estate Management / Operations Responsibilities :

• General property maintenance and preventative upkeep
• Hands-on handyman duties and overseeing repairs
• Managing and liaising with contractors including plumbing and electrics
• Building and maintaining a trusted network of trades
• Care and management of vehicles
• Driving duties as required
• Supporting the smooth operational running of the estate

House Management Responsibilities 

• Full household management and presentation
• Maintaining exceptional standards throughout
• Coordinating and managing cleaning teams 2–3 times weekly
• Light housekeeping and high-level ironing including shirts and linen
• Guiding and supporting staff to ensure consistently high standards
• Bringing a warm, welcoming touch to the home, from atmosphere to the finer details such as flowers and presentation

Shared Responsibilities

• Acting as gatekeepers of the property
• Managing all day-to-day operations with full autonomy
• Liaising with contractors and resolving issues efficiently
• Ensuring the home runs effortlessly and discreetly at all times
• Maintaining complete privacy and confidentiality

Working Hours & Lifestyle

• Monday to Friday
• Typically, 7/8am – 5pm
• Occasional pre-agreed overtime, house sitting or pet sitting
• Weekends respected as private family time

Accommodation & Package

• Beautifully refurbished one-bedroom apartment including kitchen, sitting room and bathroom (initial property). Larger accommodation a possibility later down the line.

Salary

·       £70,000 – £110,000 per annum depending on experience

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Domestic or Estate Management Couple essential 
• Experience managing large private homes or estates- essential 
• Excellent long-term and checkable references
• Strong organisational, practical and interpersonal skills
• High levels of discretion, loyalty and professionalism
• A genuine passion for creating a beautifully run, happy home
• Great at managing staff, approachable, friendly, polite and happy to muck in when needed
