Part-Time Experienced Nanny Required

A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, reliable and caring part-time nanny to work alongside their long-standing full-time nanny in caring for their two children - a bright and sociable 6-year-old boy and his lovely 2-year-old sister. The family have a lovely home in rural Norfolk close to Holt ( 15-20 minutes)

Both parents work full time and are looking for someone trustworthy, energetic and genuinely passionate about working with children. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who is nurturing, patient and able to create a fun, structured and engaging environment.

The eldest child is neurodivergent, so the family would particularly value someone understanding, calm and experienced in supporting children with additional needs. A background in SEN support or teaching would be highly desirable. He thrives with positive engagement, creative activities and opportunities to socialise with other home-schooled children, so someone proactive in organising outings, activities and groups would be ideal.

The youngest child attends nursery three days per week and is a cheerful little girl who enjoys routine and play.

In addition to childcare the position will include:

  • Preparing healthy meals for the children
  • Children’s laundry and ironing
  • Keeping children’s areas tidy and organised
  • Helping to maintain a tidy kitchen

A driver with their own car is essential, although a family car can be available for driving the children to nursery, groups and activities.

The ideal nanny will be:

  • Kind, patient and nurturing
  • Fun, enthusiastic and energetic
  • Organised and dependable
  • Able to maintain sensible routines and boundaries
  • A non-smoker

The family’s current full-time nanny has been with them for six years and will now be reducing her hours to spend more time with her own child. Initially, the new nanny will be required:
Thursday & Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

This is a warm and welcoming household looking for someone who will become a valued part of the children’s lives and help them continue to flourish.

A generous hourly rate will be offered to the successful person who can provided fully checkable references.
