Part-Time Experienced Homehelp/ Companion Required

We are looking for a reliable, kind, and patient person to provide companionship and practical household support for a lady living at an assisted living residence in Braintree, Essex.

Hours: 6 hours per week over 2 days (days and times to be agreed)

 This rewarding role involves helping to make everyday life a little easier and more comfortable. Duties will include:

> General housekeeping

> Laundry and ironing

> Changing bed linen

> Organising cupboards and drawers

> Cleaning and checking the fridge

> Ordering weekly online grocery shop

> Personal administration such as confirming appointments, making telephone calls as required.

> Providing companionship, conversation, and a friendly presence

> No personal care is required.

 The lady is bright, intelligent, and enjoys good conversation. She lives with painful arthritis and reduced vision, being blind in one eye, and would greatly appreciate seeing a friendly and dependable person on a regular basis. Sometimes the role may simply involve sitting down together for a chat and a cup of tea – perhaps with a piece of cake.

 We are seeking someone who is caring, trustworthy, organised, and happy to provide both practical assistance and companionship.

 Car driver with own transport essential.

 An enhanced DBS will be required.
