Live-in Couple -Care Of Private Family Home & Small Portfolio- North Norfolk Coast

We are looking for a hard-working, practical and capable couple to live on site and look after a special family holiday home on the North Norfolk coast, together with two further let properties nearby and a small number of boats.

One of you would look after the main house, its grounds and pool, act as the local point of contact for the two rented properties, and manage the upkeep of the boats; the other would care for the house and its interiors, cook for the family and run dinners for up to a dozen when they are in residence. The family use the main house for part of the year,  mainly during school holidays and other peak times,  so full availability and a strong on-site presence at those times are essential, and much of the role is keeping everything in excellent order, secure and ready in between.

In addition to those with experienced in running a family home, it could also suit a couple who have run a pub, a B&B or worked in yachting — people who can turn their hand to most things, are happy being the dependable point of contact, enjoy cooking and looking after others, and take real pride in a place. Boating know-how is a bonus but not essential.

A comfortable, self-contained two-bedroom home on site and car are part of the package, along with a competitive salary and a secure, long-term role. Formal “domestic service” background is not essential,  just reliability, warmth, common sense, a good way in the kitchen and genuine care for doing things well.
Start time flexible from September 2026.

Package: £650 per week net each (all tax and National Insurance covered by the employer), plus private health insurance and a Christmas bonus. Salary is reviewed annually based on performance. Combined package worth approximately £86,500 gross per annum. This is all negotiable and depending on experience, longevity and excellent references.
