Live-In Houseperson / Housekeeper - Kensington

We are looking for a discreet, practical, and well-presented Houseperson who takes genuine pride in maintaining an immaculate home and providing exceptional support to a busy private household. You'll play a key role in the smooth daily running, upkeep, and security of an elegant London property working with an exceptional housekeeping team who are already in place. This is a position that requires commitment and loyalty. Experience and references are essential. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the property's general upkeep, ensuring every area is maintained to an impeccable standard
• Carry out light maintenance and repairs such as lightbulbs, fittings, minor wear and tear, fixtures and finishes
• Confidently use ladders and tools for higher-level or heavier tasks (curtains, ceiling fixtures)
• Oversee tradespeople and contractors to ensure work meets the household's high standards
• Work alongside the existing housekeeping team assisting with heavier cleaning and occasional deep-cleaning projects
• Help maintain order, cleanliness, and readiness throughout the home
• Occasional travel to other UK residences helping with property upkeep and general support
• Share responsibility for property security
• Monitor visitors, deliveries, and contractors per household protocols
• Conduct regular checks of house and grounds 
• Chauffeur the principals as needed for airport runs, appointments, local journeys
• Handle shopping and errands efficiently
• Keep household vehicle(s) clean, fuelled, serviced, and always ready
• Assist with entertaining such as table setup, service, and clear-down
• Maintain a polished, discreet standard during dinner parties and gatherings

Accommodation and Salary:

A comfortable, self-contained, private apartment is available. (Please note this is single occupancy only and no pets permitted)

£45,000–£50,000 per annum depending on experience
